  1. Breathe..and relax..take time to take care of yourself too. As a mom, I will say how important it is for you now to also remember to take care of yourself and get as much rest as you can, as this is so hard on your emotion and if your body is worn down, it makes it so much harder to handle. Plus, I still am keeping faith for Aviana to come back, and you will need your strength then also to be there for her too.
Know we are all there for you..
    Bless you, Deborah 0;)

  2. I've asked my friends and family to pray for Aviana. People near and far that have never met this little spitfire are pulling for her, praying for her, and praying for your family.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strengh to the tired and weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired amd weary and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strengh. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Stay strong and keep fighting! We are here for you!

  4. I think it's time for a deep breath. Close your eyes. Picture the doctors with looks of astonishment on their faces...wonderment in their eyes. All the stories we have...all the silly, mistaken medical professionals who said there was no hope! All they have to work with is science. But we have faith...and hope...and wishes...and prayers...hundreds of prayers! And they just have science.

  6. Dearest Jen, Dave, Gary, Brenda and family ...
May the presence of the Lord be great upon each of you, during this most difficult time, and may His peace, comfort and strength be made known to you, even in the midst of this most overwhelming storm. It is so good to know that Jesus is an ever present help in times of trouble, and that He is a Friend that sticks closer to us, even than a brother. He is so close to us, no further away, in fact, than a conversation, a prayer, a cry, a whisper, even a thought. Please know, you are all in our hopes, our thoughts, and definitely, our prayers, and we hold Aviana deep within our hearts, for a special touch of healing from the loving hand of the Lord. God bless each of you ...

  9. Dearest Jen,

Carlos and I first read your blog a few days ago and we are praying for you, Dave and precious Aviana. Take care of each other and try, if at all possible to rest. Two years of sleep deprivation has caused me not to be able to see straight. Sometimes my mind is running, or is blank and I'm absent from myself and my family. But, even a short 20 minute nap brings me some clarity and peace.

My Mom is thinking of you also. Please send my love to your Mom and Gary. Hold onto faith and continue to stay strong!

Love, Michelle, Carlos, Joaquin & Natalia

  13. God bless you and your family, and your sweet little girl. Not quite sure how I came upon your blog though, but have gone back to the beginning of your posts, and my heart goes out to you. One breathe at a time, each and every day, that is your job now. Praying for you all.

  14. Jen -
I have been following this blog and praying so often for your precious Aviana. FB is so amazing in that it brings people together who haven't seen each other in forever. I think it's been 20 years since I've seen you, and I was so thrilled that you found me on FB and then delighted to see that you married a great guy and have such an adorable little girl. I have been thinking of your family so often these past several days - I think Aviana is around the same age as my son. I can't begin to imagine the nightmare you have been living. I am amazed you are able to blog so eloquently about the whole situation. Just know that I have been continually praying for you guys and hoping so much that Aviana is going to be ok. Sending you love from Ohio!
