Kama has not been eating lately, and has lost about 5-7 pounds. She had blood work done, and all was well. Tomorrow she is going to have an x-ray to look for the problem.
The *cancer* word, amongst others came up in conversation with the vet today. Sadly, I am focusing on only one word that was uttered, and all the others have fallen by the wayside.
I am super nervous, and quite honestly beside myself. Please keep her close in thought and prayer, as I would be lost without her.
Thank you so much.

Aww sweet Kama. Hoping and praying that she's feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteSending good thoughts and prayers for Kama!
ReplyDeletefrom the first time I started reading your blog, I kept thinking, please dont' let anything happen to Kama.
ReplyDeleteIts awful how many animals get cancer now, maybe its not though. She could have a blockage that can be removed for a pretty penny, which i know we be worth it. Thinking of you as always, I had a special dog like Kama too.
I didn't realize this when I saw her Sunday. I'm sorry to hear it. Prayers to you all, and especially Kama!! I know it's hard, but try not to focus on that bad "c" word!! Sammy's been losing weight and Dr. D. can't find anything wrong with her...he said it could be cancer (which I IGNORED with the "la la la-fingers-in-ears" technique you sometimes use) or that it might just be old age. I'm going for the latter!! =)
ReplyDeletePrayers for Kama. And we'll be sure to have Sammy and Sheldon add her to their bedtime prayers!!
Hugs!
Jen, you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending lots of love to you ♥
