Hi Everyone. I know it's been a long time, but we have been outrageously busy. I was supposed to stay back with Kama while my family went to Philadelphia, but we all know how that story ended. I had to somewhat switch gears, and fast.
Dave and I spent the remaining 2 days we had packing, and getting ready for our 3rd trip back to Philadelphia. Can you believe it, three trips in under a year!
We threw ourselves into our trip. Can you believe we had to buy, weigh, cook, and blend 40 meals, and 20 snacks for our 8-day trip back. You should have seen the kitchen, it was a crazy mess. We even divided it up into 30 meals one night and 30 the next. This little pumpkin sure is a lot of work, but so worth it ;o)
I tried to keep my mind busy every single moment, but still I was breaking down left and right.
We spent our first day in Amish Country. Then, we spent Halloween touring Gettysburg.
The Institute course was in session from November 1-5, and we flew home on November 6th. I began to unravel a little more with each day closer to leaving. This is unheardof for me. Usually my eyes pop open early on the 3rd or 4th day of a trip, and I instantly want to run home by any means possible. Rushing home has lost its luster. Picturing our empty house was less than inviting.
I have much more to say, but have to go for right now. By the way, my posts may be out of sorts, and all over the place. I suppose they will match how my brain feels =)
Again, thank you all for your support lately. I reflect back on your comments when I am feeling in the deepest depths of despair.
I missed you all!
