Hey Roseville

So, I showed you this picture earlier. We asked this very kind couple below if they would take our picture. We asked them where they were from, they said California. We said we were from there, too! We asked them from what part. They said, Newcastle. Newcastle happens to be about 10-15 minutes from where I am from. I told them I lived in Roseville.

We asked what they were doing out in Nashville, and how long they would be out. They were out for their anniversary and would be staying for four days, same as us.

We found it ironic to have come all this way, and of all places to have bumped into them at the Loveless Cafe! This Cafe was about 35 miles outside of Downtown Nashville, and in an area that kind of felt like the middle of nowhere.

We went our separate ways.

The next day, we arrived at the Gary Allan Fan Club Party. I ran inside, and the first thing I heard was, "Hey Roseville!" My dad and I looked up, and but who did we see? Cindy and Peter from the Loveless Cafe. We were shocked. He said, I think you left one small detail out when we met you, I said the same to them. He said that is the whole reason why we are here. I said the same!

We found it to be such a small world. We exchanged Gary Allan stories, and couldn't believe we had traveled the same distance, for the same time frame. It was truly strange!

Once home, my dad went back to Tahoe, and we needed to stock back up on groceries. Dave, Avi and I headed over to Whole Foods. I was quite focused on the oatmeal section when all of a sudden, I heard, "Hey Roseville!" I spun around, and yep...there he stood, here on California soil. I couldn't believe my eyes, as two short days prior I had just seen him in Nashville at Gary Allan. Life can be a wild ride sometimes!

It's such a small world. These were some neat people to meet along the way.

  3. I love it when those kind of things happen. Maybe next time you'll see them at a Gary Allen concert.
