My mom called early this morning and told us that Gary had to go to the ER at 2:30 am, as his right side went numb and his speech was slurred. They think he had a Transient Ischemic Attack or a mini stroke. It was hard on each of us to be in the Emergency Room again. Thankfully, he was released later this afternoon though.
We are all shaken up a bit for what this means for now, in the next few days, weeks, months, and so on. If you could please send every good thought you have our way ~ we sure would love and appreciate it.
Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI have been away. I am so sorry to hear that Gary had to go through this. I hope by now he is feeling better. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Sending love to all of you!
ReplyDeleteI hope to read that Gary is improving daily. I'm sorry for this in your family. My mother-in-law suffered a TIA last fall. She was driving my father-in-law and niece at the time. It was scary for them, but God somehow got them to their destination, where my brother-in-law then took over and got her to ER. She had no lasting side effects at that time. She's now taking chemo and radiation for colon cancer, which surprised us all. She is the wonderful center for the family, and she's in all of our thoughts and prayers all day. We pray for your family now, also.
