Rarely Vertical

Today we had to put Aviana's braces on and take some pictures to send to The Institutes. We stood her up and were pleasantly surprised by how well she looked in the standing position. She did a great job holding her head up!

With our assistance, (meaning holding her up and also moving each of her legs) we walked her around the house a little. She was pushing through her legs really well. She enjoyed it....and so did we.

I can't believe how tall she has gotten. She was always such a tiny, little munchkin before!

  3. WOW!! Avianas' facial expression tells it all,she looks so confident! Maybe a large size jumpy seat, like for infants,to strengthen her legs ? Your work and love shows through Aviana.
Ive been following your journey and this is my first post,as soon as I saw Avianas expression I just had to share in your joy.

  7. She's is amazing standing and walking with her Daddy! My son had a Rifton stander and then a Rifton walker...Is there someone you could borrow one from and try with Aviana? I'm sure she would just love it!

  14. Jen,
That is such exciting news. Thank you for posting the photos. Although seeing her in an upright position is great, I can't help but to notice that in the last few months or so she seems to have so much more expression on her face. Her eyes seem to be tracking and she is looking more alert. Wow, this is the best news I could have gotten. I am so happy for all of you. Take care, and still thinking of you daily, although at times I don't post a response, I am always looking for updates. Thank you!
    Shannon
