The Little Things

I can post without pictures, but it seems all I have in mind lately includes picture after picture! I have much written and in waiting.

With all the computer swapping, consolidating, calls to Apple Care, impending Blogger expiration, attempts to get a hold of Google (3.5 hour hold and still no talk), and on and on...I'm not able to include one single picture within any post. When I make an attempt, the rainbow wheel of death appears on my screen. Ahhhh! Force quit! Force quit ; )

I'm hoping to be back sometime soon : )

In the meantime, how have you been? How's your summer been so far? Is there anything I just have to try, see, or a place we really need to go?

  1. I loath the rainbow wheel of death! My mac has been acting up lately, and that wheel makes it's appearance so much. I think I have too many photos on this thing, because it's so S L O W. I need to get it looked at, but that's like #281 on my list of things to do.

So Jen, you're going to kill me but...I just got back from San Fran, and yes I'm such a bad friend...I didn't let you know I'd be there! Ahhhhh! Okay, but hear me out. I knew that I'd have no time to meet up with you like last time. This time it was me with Rich and ALL the kids. Seriously, every second of every day we were doing something. And Rich had never been there, so it was a big deal for him to sight see and tour Alcatraz and all that. But Avery kept saying, "Remember when Jen took us to the mall? I want to go to the mall. Call Jen." Seriously, all that girl wanted to do was shop at the mall you took us to. But we didn't go to the mall because, are you kidding? Rich would never go for that, and the boys would have been bored to death. We all had a good time, though. Just got back tonight. And the rest of our summer is kick-back. San Fran was our main vacation. We are having a pool built in our backyard -- construction starts in July. So we will be busy supervising that project. Some scattered beach days here and there, but that's about it.

Hope you computer troubles get fixed soon. I know how frustrating that is.

    1. Never would I kill you ; ) I'm so happy you had a good trip! Dave did some engineering work recently at Alcatraz. He would take the ferry out there at around 10 pm and go down below to where the tours don't. He showed me pictures, so amazing. They were from 1887 and even included where the inmates etched on the walls. I wished I could go with him so many times!

How exciting about the pool! I bet there is a buzz of anticipation throughout the family!

I can finally see the finish line with the computer stuff...hopefully ; )

  2. Jen... I have a picture to send to you... one I took in April when I was in Florida. Can you send me your e-mail address and I will send it to you?

Always thinking of you and Dave... and always trying to pay it forward in honor of Aviana.
